Thomson Topiaries Class Information
Joel Andre offers two
different types of programs. In both cases Joel travels to a designated site (a
garden club, a person’s home, etc.). Costs are determined by distance from
Ballwin. Click here for “zones” map.
Program Type #1 – Demonstration
For this program, Joel brings several frames and all supplies (available for
sale) to the class. She talks about topiary construction and care, and then
demonstrates how to make a live topiary.
Class Length: 1 hour

minutes before and after the class. |

Program Type #2 – Workshop
In this class, Joel brings all supplies necessary for participants to make a
complete topiary. Frames (any frame that retails for $35 or less), moss, fishing
line, pins, and plant material are supplied. There is a demonstration on how to
construct and care for topiary and then participants make a topiary from the
available frame choices.
-Class Length: 3 hours (may vary depending of participants skill level)
-Class Cost: $45.00 per person per frame
-Larger frames and extra supplies are available for additional cost\

Class Maximum is 30 Participants.
| The organization is asked to have two people help set-up and takedown 1 hour
before and after the workshop. |
| Participants must bring rubber gloves and scissors. Rubber gloves should be
worn by participants at all times during workshops. |
| Organization must supply meeting facility, tables, chairs, and water. |
| If minimum number of participants cannot be reached, add the class
demonstration fees (Program Type #1 above) to workshop fee. |
| 10% of all sales (other than class costs) will be donated to organization
sponsoring class. |
